Revolutionary War Graveyard of Greeneville | During this tour you and your friends will be able to tour the interior of several different historic structures and visit one of the areas most historic cemeteries. You'll learn about the tragic history of one of Tennessee's most influential political figures from the past. You'll also learn about one of our areas oldest taverns and be amazed by the tragic Civil War entanglements of the town. Use the following map and directions to find Appalachian GhostWalks' Ghost Tour called "Haunted Historic Greeneville" if driving from the Smoky Mountains, Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, or Ober Gatlinburg, Tennessee by way of I-40, I-81, and US Hwy 11-East.
Directions to the "Haunted Historic Greeneville GhostWalk"
From Highway US-441 take Highway 66 North for 8.47 miles; Merge onto Interstate I-40 East for 13.77 miles; Merge onto Interstate I-81 North toward the left toward Bristol, TN; Take Exit 23 onto Highway US-11E toward Greeneville and Mosheim continuing on this four lane road for 11.64 miles; Take the Highway TN-70 South, or Highway US-11E "Business Route North" ramp toward downtown Greeneville; Merge onto W Summer St, or Highway TN-350 South continuing for 1.52 miles; Turn left onto S Main Street and go 0.09 miles ending at the General Morgan Inn, 111 N Main St, Greeneville, TN 37743; Total Estimated Time: 1 hour, 15 minutes; Total Distance: 63.46 miles... Each GhostWalk, or Ghost Tour Package, can be arranged to fit your busy schedule whether you are native to the area, or just traveling through, but advance reservations are required. If you live locally, you can do just one tour on any night of our convenience, or if you, your family, or your tour group are looking for a fantastic weekend getaway, or a full haunted vacation you can do a multiple day itinerary combined with discounts on other area attractions and accommodations, some of which are haunted. We have three to nine day vacation packages and one call to (423) 743-WALK (9255) does it all!
